Grant County Fire District 3 Board Approves 2027–2031 Strategic Plan
QUINCY, Wash. — Grant County Fire District 3 has completed its 2027–2031 Strategic Plan, which was formally approved by the Board of Commissioners on September 9, 2026.
The five-year plan establishes the District’s priorities and provides a framework to guide decision-making, investments, and service to the communities of the Quincy Valley.
Development of the plan included input from District members, community stakeholders, regional partners, and the Board of Commissioners through surveys, meetings, workshops, and prioritization efforts.
“This plan reflects a tremendous amount of input from our members and the community,” said Fire Chief David Durfee. “It gives us a clear direction for the next five years while providing the flexibility to address changing needs and opportunities.”
The plan will be put into action through annual work plans that identify specific objectives and projects, align priorities with the budget, and provide a means to track and report progress.
Grant County Fire District 3 thanks everyone who participated in the planning process and helped shape the District’s direction for 2027–2031.
