Official Statement:
Regarding the Grant County Commissioner District 3 Forum Recording
Due to unforeseen technical complications, there is unfortunately no complete recording available of the Grant County Commissioner District 3 Forum held on June 17, 2026.
Our primary live-streaming system, which successfully recorded the Sheriff’s Forum and had been tested earlier that same day, experienced an unexpected failure during the event. As a contingency, we immediately relied on our backup camera system. While the backup camera successfully captured the video portion of the forum, it failed to record any audio.
We understand that many community members who were unable to attend in person were counting on the recording to stay informed about the candidates and issues discussed. We share your disappointment and recognize the importance of preserving these conversations for the public.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and frustration this may cause. Transparency and community access remain central to our mission, and we will be reviewing our recording procedures and backup systems to reduce the likelihood of a similar issue occurring in the future.
Thank you for your understanding and for your continued support of local community coverage.
